acrylic and oil spray paint with glitter and mirror shards on a 24” x 20” canvas.
Initially frustrated with the subject of this piece, I poured a thick stream of maroon paint in a moment of release, then layered over it with bold sprays of various paints. The final layer includes shards of mirror—intentionally painted over—turning reflection into texture rather than light. The result is a work born from instinct and correction, a reminder that bold choices can transform frustration into something striking and deliberate.
