18" x 24” mixed media painting composed of acrylic and oil spray paint with glitter
This is the companion piece for a commissioned painting I installed in Chelsea, Manhattan. The choice in background colors was out of my usual scheme and it was a delight to delve into the magenta, rouges, and pinks. On top, months later, I masked off large sections and layered the inverse of colors for a stark contrast. The result came together to me as a delightful day crossing over into an evening of splendor.
